Gordon's Bay Dive Trail

GBSDC members have erected a dive trail under the water at Gordon's Bay. By following the chain and buoys under the surface, you will have a safe and enjoyable dive.

Pick the right dive conditions to dive at Gordons Bay . If there is a strong southerly or easterly swell, the entry and exit can be tricky and sometimes dangerous. Generally, anything more than a 1 metre swell is challenging. You can dive at all levels of the tide, however the diving is better closer to high tide and the entry and exit also tends to be easier.

Visibility is best with an offshore/westerly wind, which also leads to flat ocean conditions.

The map below shows the path of the trail around Gordon's Bay.
